In 2020, after some serious pandemic reflection, and leaving his job at a local renovation company, the stars seemed to align for Squamish resident Corey Astill. This self-proclaimed ‘tinkerer’ was able to start offering fix-it and small renovation services to friends and family. Interest grew and grew, and it quickly became clear that his unique skill set was in high demand. This talented fix-it guy with a solid background in renovation and a passion for mixology became The Fixologist and he has not looked back!

Over the past few years, the business has grown and Corey has added a few part-time Fixologists to the team with specialties in electrical, plumbing, tiling, and carpentry. He calls in other local professionals when needed and has realized we have no shortage of talented tradespeople to draw on in the Sea to Sky corridor.

To date, Corey and his team of Fixologists have worked with clients in Squamish and Whistler on a number of small to medium size projects. From small fixes like moving lights, installing custom shelves, replacing doors, and installing weather striping to bigger projects like renovating bathrooms and kitchens, finishing roughed in spaces like basements and garages, replacing exterior siding, upgrading fireplaces, as well as building decks and fences.
